The Val d'Orcia, located in the southern part of Tuscany, is home to many historic and cultural places, including the UNESCO Sites of Pienza, the ancient town of Montalcino, and the charming villages of Bagno Vignoni, Cetona, and Radicofani.
This region is also known for its delicious cuisine and wine. Local specialties include Pecorino cheese, truffles, and the world-famous Brunello di Montalcino. San Casciano dei Bagni is one of the many charming hilltop towns in this yet-unspoiled region. The town itself has a well-preserved medieval center, with narrow streets and picturesque buildings made of local stone and it is known for its hot springs, which have been used for their therapeutic properties since Roman times. There are several thermal spas in the area that offer a range of wellness treatments. Located in this rich land, Villa Vincente is a quiet and relaxing place to unwind and one you will want to come back to!
The villa reflects the typical Tuscan architecture: stone exteriors, wood beamed ceilings, cotto floors, wrought iron and terracotta details. Ample arches allow the bright open-plan interiors to feel grand. The simple yet stylish sitting room with large TV and working fireplace, the dining area with a generous table, and the chef-kitchen featuring a central isle with breakfast counter, are ideal spaces for conviviality and to share quality time together. Every room has access to the outdoor. A guest bathroom completes this floor.
The villa is set in a woodland, and it is accessed via a one-mile dirt road. This feature allows for complete privacy and silence. The private pool enjoys spectacular views of the valley; the pool deck is furnished to guarantee comfort and positioned nearby some old oak trees that grant shade when you need it.
A lounge and a dining area are available outside the house for dining al fresco and sharing some lively conversations.
The area around San Casciano dei Bagni is perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The rolling hills and picturesque landscapes provide a stunning backdrop for any adventure. The charming village of San Casciano, with some restaurants and shops, is just a few minutes’ drive away, while the distance from Pienza is 40 km, Siena 90 km, Florence 140 km. You can reach Florence or Rome by train in 90-120 minutes (depending on the train) from the train station of Chiusi- Chianciano Terme, which is 25 min away from the villa.
